My training in community-based psychotherapy began in upstate New York on an ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) team. ACT teams provide the highest level of care in the adult out-patient mental health system, which many consider a hospital without walls. During my tenure providing ACT services, I polished my skills as a community-based practitioner, providing services in a non-traditional treatment mileui, learning how to work with high-risk populations across different cross-sections of culture and economic subsections of New York state.
After practicing with ACT, I joined the system of care in Westchester county, where I began delivering mobile mental health services for children, adolescents, and families in need of home-based psychotherapy. While providing treatment for the mobile mental health program in need of this high level of mental health treatment, I further re-tooled my skill set with youths throughout Westchester county
Believing that the best clinician has not only a varied skill set, but experience practicing in different settings, I joined the NYC system of care as a clinic-based psychotherapist. I look forward to meeting you, at home, in the clinic, or anywhere you need help,
